This is a tiny, let me repeat that, I mean small, but very neat
"Pe"
from the
"Kingdom of Cambodia."
One of the earliest coins and undated, it was struck in 1847 during the reign of King Ang Duong. He was the King of Cambodia from 1841 until his death in 1860. He was the father of King Norodom Prohmbarirak who signed the treaty creating
"French Indo-China."
After the Khmer Empire, based in Angkor Wat, fell in the fifteenth century the
"court"
moved to Longvek and began maritime trading. The first European mention of
"Cambodia"
was by Portuguese traders in 1511.
Weight: 0.31 Gram, 7.5 Millimeters or 0.30 inch, Billon or low-purity silver.

A very nice example. It looks like it did not see a lot of use. These pictures are extreme close-ups, the coin is only three-tenths of an inch wide. As grading is subjective please see the pictures and judge for yourself.
