Description
Alumichock! A say what? Yeah I just made that up, sounds fancier than a hold your door open thingy. But thats just what it does. Alumichock is made from 6061 aluminum and features tig welded construction so it’s tough and it wont rust. And if you’re really bored you can go ahead and polish it to a mirror shine if you really want to. It’s been used and works on a ton of different door and hinge combinations, and holds most doors open at 90 degrees. And it’s less likely to become inadvertently dislodged thanks to the longer hook design. Will it do what a wedge can do? No, because it’s not a wedge. Is it kinda bulky? Yes, but it makes up for it by being sturdy and good looking. Besides, you probably already got a bunch of other crap in your bunker pants pockets anyways. It can also stow on your lid behind that big rubber band thing that you probably already have.. seriously, though, it’s just my take on the fire service door chock that I thought was a good idea. Another tool for your toolbox. It’s use isn’t limited to the fire service though. How about you Emt’s and paramedics, isn’t it fun fighting that cot through the door that wont stay open?? Homeowners, tired of snagging that last grocery bag in the self closing garage door and smashing all your funyuns into a fine powder? Tradesmen, don’t ya just love slamming five metric sh*t tons of tools and materials into the door that one of those ten dudes just standing there could have held open for ya? No worries, alumichock’s got your back. Anywhere else you need a door held open and don’t want it to close. I’m not gonna write three pages of fine print warranty but if you do somehow manage to destroy one of these, just contact me and I’ll send you a replacement (you cover shipping). Just send me a picture of the aftermath so I can admire your handiwork.Features:
