S THIS SET OF 4 ANTIQUE TOOLER INDUSTRIAL FURNITURE/CART/TABLE CAST IRON CASTERS.
THE WHEELS MEASURE 1 1/2" IN DIA. X 1" WIDE, 3 1/2" OVERALL HEIGHT, 2 1/4" WIDE MOUNTING BASE DIAMETER, WEIGHING ALMOST 1LB. EACH. THEY ARE STRENGTHENED BY THE 1" LONG BY 1" MAX. DIAMETER BARRELS THAT EXTEND UP INTO THE LEGS OR BOTTOM OF THE ITEM. BECAUSE THE PIVOT SHAFT EXTENDS UP INTO AND IS PART OF THAT BARREL, THIS CASTER IS STRONGER THAN THOSE JUST HAVING A PIVOT AT THE MOUNTING FLANGE. YOU WILL NEED A 1" DIAMETER x 1" DEEP HOLE IN THE ITEM LEG TO ACCOMODATE THE BARRELL OF THE CASTER.
THEY'RE IN VERY GOOD CONDITION WITH NO CRACKS WELDS AND MINIMAL SURFACE RUST.
PERFECT USE FOR A BUTCHER BLOCK KITCHEN ISLAND, WORK CART, OR FURNITURE PIECE.
